Many players have been messaging us asking about the invite channel. We'd like to firstly again stress however that the invite channel is a perk convenience for teams. It should not be viewed upon as an end goal by any team. Instead, we encourage teams to focus their efforts on Cybergamer as we will continue to reward those teams with more perks in the future.
The invitation process is as follows: Invite admins put teams forward for consideration. The teams are then judged on the following criteria:
-Top CGa rank with excellent and outstanding ladder results
-Excellent cup performances
-Local and international LAN achievements as a team and as individuals
-Individuals with a credible and stable team history
-Sportsmanship and general attitude
-Has been in a team and actively participated in tournaments/leagues for at least 2 months
-Team members with individually exceptional past achievements
-No active bans
Teams will be judged on a case by case basis.
The CGa performance category has the largest weight. Meaning if you perform exceptionally well in CGa (by obtaining an extremely high rank with an excellent win/loss ratio) there's a good chance you'll get an invite, even before the season ends.
Promotion from CGa to CGm is currently the only sure way of gaining access.
And most importantly, if we feel you're worthy, then we'll be the ones messaging you, not the other way around.
To start playing CGa (Cybergamer Amateur Ladder) go to www.cybergamer.org and sign up there.
