Although Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is not the newest game on the market, it surely is one of the most played competitive FPS titles. That could not be more true for the Bosnian scene, which was previously dominated by their Counter Strike talent, but now it seems that the scene has moved onto richer grounds - CoD4. With around 15 active teams Bosnia and Herzegovina and dozens more in the neighbouring countries, the second event taking place in Čamil Sijarić Schools Sports Hall in the Capital of BiH, Sarajevo.
Though the announcement of the organization behind the event series was rather late, the TUP event will still go ahead on 28th and 29th of January 2012 with 10-12 teams expected in attendance. Even though the signup fee is rather small with 60€ per team, in the end the prizes are quite substantial with the following numbers:

2nd place 150 Euros

Statement by one of the organizers, VN National Representative, Mike \'mIKE\' Hadzić:
Well i do expect much of this lan ,as it should attract many sponsors which should give a new chance to
BiH Call Of Duty 4 scene.Of course we wont stop here ,this will be only 1 of many projects we are planing
to make in the future ,like online league created only for Bosnian teams which should give them opportunity
to know each other better.Olso we will make some kinda a prize games ,for example best kill of the month ,
best SS and stuff like that. All this should be enough for now ,our next lan event is planed for march/april
and our new site is coming right after this event ends. Thanks a lot.
